This event is a collaboration of the Brockton Historical Society and the Keith Park Neighborhood Association. It is partially funded by a grant from Mass Humanities.
Rain or shine - if it rains we will move indoors to the South Middle School.
If you would like to participate as a vendor, or a crafter, or as a candidate for office, please visit
www.kpnabrockton.weebly.com for restrictions, fees, and details.
(General vendor and crafter information is below.)
If you are a crafter, a contribution of $25 is requested to secure space at the event. The items that you are selling must be appropriate to 1917 - natural materials, handmade products, etc. You must provide your own tent, table and chairs.
If you are a nonprofit organization that would like to promote your mission, the donation requested to secure space is $35. You must prepare and bring 200 copies of a handout with information that pertains to your organization or similar purpose in 1917 on one side, and 2017 on the other. The handout must be 5" wide and 8.5" long to fit into the History Book that each vistor will take home from the event. You must provide your own tent, table and chairs.
If you are a candidate and would like to hang a banner on "Main Street", the donation requested is $50. The banner must be no larger than 3'x5', can be attached to the fencing around the festival area with zipties, and must be removed by the candidate or his/her designee by 7 pm the evening of June 11.
Forms are available at:

If you are a restaurant in the Campello area and would like to sell food at this event, we are suggesting you think about 8 oz paper "go cups" or "go bowls" that might sell for $3 to $5. So, for example, some beans and rice in the bottom and some sausage on top and a fork, voila! Or, a Greek salad with feta cheese and a fork, voila!. There is NO power in the park and NO open flames allowed, so heating is by Sterno and warming trays and cooling by ice and coolers. We have one vendor, Simpson Spring, that will be the ONLY provider of water and soda to be sold so your menu should be food or hot coffee or hot tea only. You must have ServSafe certification and pass all City of Brockton Health Department requirements. For detailed information, email Lynn Smith at [email protected]
